That reduces visibility but can you stop someone from making their own website? What if someone just makes a mod for themselves and doesn’t share it? How would anyone know? The “reputable” repository websites for mods/cc won’t host such content. I’ve seen forums/servers ostracize creators and refuse to help troubleshoot if a player has content from those creators. When it comes to really disturbing content (like rape, child abuse, etc), at least from what I’ve seen, the community most human beings won’t support it. but what else can EA do? Would anything more than that be their responsibility? The easiest way would be to ban all of it and no one wants that.
Not sure how they would know since they say they don’t screen or support any mods/cc. The article says such content violates the user agreement and users can be punished/banned for it.
